What an adventure and a half！ It starts out with James， who needs a purpose and character。 He has a lot to learn and boy， did he！ I truly enjoyed this trilogy and look forward to more of this series。 The author did a great job world-building and bringing characters， flaws and all， into perspective。 Well thought out and well-written。 I laughed at some of the shenanigans and I cried too when things went poorly。 I do recommend this epic fantasy to others who love a great roller coaster of a ride。
